-I earned my Master's in Education from Notre Dame College, specializing in mild to moderate intervention. -I am energetic and enthusiastic about putting my mind to a lot of opportunities. -I am ambitious and outgoing.- I am proficient in the field of education.-I am well-rounded in most areas of public relationsI put a full effort into everything I do and do not stop until the task is finished and accurate. My main weakness is that I can be a perfectionist at times and be hard on myself, even though I was never a perfect student. I graduated from Solon High School in 2011. Here, I was involved in the CEC (Council for Exceptional Children) and ice hockey. I attended The College of Wooster and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies with my minor in Education. I was involved in many organizations, including four-year captain of the ice hockey team, club soccer, the Interfaith Dialogue committee, as well as many cultural organizations on campus. In the summers of college, I worked as a one-on-one special needs counselor. After I graduated in 2015, I substituted in Cleveland area schools. In the summer of 2016, I went to Israel for two months and worked as a public relations coordinator for this start-up known as OneDay Social Volunteering. I compiled a Press Kit for the company, strengthened the bond of volunteers along with improving the community, wrote the monthly newsletter, as well as created the workflow. I also wrote a procedure for a board invitation letter and constructed the One Pager and Advanced One Pager. When I got back to America, I substituted, mostly for intervention jobs. Solon City Schools then took notice and asked me to serve as an instructional aide for the rest of the 2016-2017 year because they noticed I worked well with the special needs unit and quickly developed a rapport with the students. I then did my student teaching with them, ended up taking a long term sub job afterwards in North Royalton City Schools, then moved to Virginia. I have taught 2nd-3rd grade special education and middle school self-contained special education for Fairfax County Public Schools in my first two years. I then ended up at Loudoun County Public Schools teaching 5th grade special education for two years and I love it there.
