Responsible for the production of the NightLight film series with nationwide annual attendance over 40,000. Logisitics: Planned and executed the successful expansion of our signature event "NightLight" from Columbus, OH to include sold-out events in Cincinnati, OH, Nashville, TN, and Miami, FL. Management: Responsible for staff hiring and management in multiple markets nationwide. Manage an event staff of 50+.Event Production: I work on all aspects of the production of 40 mid-size public events every year including operations, marketing, ticketing, and vendor relationship management.Project Management: I manage relationships, schedule and supervise all vendors, contractors and suppliers to ensure a quality event, free from disruption, every time.

Project Managment: Managed projects with the Division of Engineering including roadway, bridge, boat access and dam construction. Oversaw multiple projects in excess of $1M.Engineering: Provided technical engineering support to client divisions of the Department of Natural Resources including Parks and Forestry.Emergency Management: Managed emergency responses and subsequent emergency construction projects for multiple dam and canal emergencies. Provided technical expertise for emergency mitigation efforts for potential dam failure incidents.Agency Coordination: Represented the Division of Natural Resources in joint projects with other state agencies including the Department of Transportation.

Government Regulator: I performed safety inspections on existing dams throughout the state of Ohio. I reviewed construction plans and hydrologic studies to ensure compliance with current dam safety standards and laws. Construction: I monitored key construction activities for dam repairs and new dam construction to ensure it was completed safely and according to approved plans. Engaging Stakeholders: I answered inquiries from the general public and worked with public and private dam owners across the state to educate them on proper dam maintenance and their legal responsibilities as owners. Technical Expertise: In order to evaluate the condition of dams, I constantly developed and utilized skills in various aspects of civil engineering including geotechnical engineering, hydrology, hydraulics, modeling, structural analysis and construction monitoring.

Contracted to work on a small team to design, construct and establish operations of a new, innovative facility for the export of palm acid oil (PAO). Design: Designed foundations, roadways, drainage, distribution piping, and office facilities. Project Management: Developed quotation requests, contracts and specifications and managed contractors. Construction: Oversaw and managed construction activities to ensure the project remained on schedule and was completed safely and according to plans. Problem Solving: Advanced the complicated project goals in a difficult environment, on an accelerated timeline, with a tight budget. Operation: Developed standard operating procedures, operational checklists and safety protocols.

Municipal Design: Prepared construction drawings, reports, and cost estimation for water supply and sewer projects across Ohio.Green Infrastructure: Designed various stormwater best management practices including rain gardens, bioretention basins, catchment filters, and pervious pavement.Analysis: Performed Triple Bottom Line analysis for the City of Columbus to select a design plan for addressing one of the largest combined sewer overflow systems in the state.
