- Provided enhancements to the Prove 2 application (a site for leinholders to lookup insurance information by policy and VIN number), which was written in C# and used the MVC 5 in .NET framework: - Expanded the vin search from 4 to 6 characters. This involved making changes in multiple applications, which communicated using in house applications which generated XML files via XR. - Made error messages more generic to make the application more secure. - Aided in the transition from old DB2 to new LDAP databases (removed old references to DB2 DBs in multiple applications. - Refactored the specflow environment: - Increased code re-usability (made steps in scenarios more generic), - Made environment easier to understand for future developers (made page objects, webdriver handling, and page flow more consistent). - Implemented pulling variables for scenarios from XML files to make the environment easier to manage as more tests are implemented.
