Key Job Roles:• Supporting students with any IT related problem this can range from help with Microsoft office tools to PC not working or even passwords that need resetting.• Supporting Students with Library related issues like student cannot find books or library account not letting them take out books etc.• Using the till for users to pay fines, pay for printing or buy stationary items.• Collecting and organising student reservations.

Key Job Roles:• Maintaining IT infrastructure at the division.• Providing day to day hardware and software support to users across three sites to an agreed service level agreement. These sites include two smaller sites in Liverpool and Birmingham with considerably fewer users than Hartlip in which I was based. • Maintaining IT infrastructure at the division including trouble shooting faulty PCs and printers. • Responding to both phone calls and created tickets from users.• Configuration of PCs for new users setting up their account and installing required software.• Support of Meridian Telephone System• Apart of the Lotus Notes Domino Server administration.• Apart of the administration of Active Directory.• Creating documentation to support the department including spreadsheets, monthly newsletters and other office documents.• Support in the configuration and set-up of new servers into racks. • Each week sorting out the backup tapes for the new week ahead.
