Worked extensively with several key global accounts to include Fortune 500, as Systems Administrator/Programmer of the physical security environments worldwide. This position came with the expectation of being the trusted advisor and subject matter expert for all matters concerning physical security.Heavily involved in IT infrastructure planning, and execution within the physical security space. My involvement also included working with corporate real estate teams, project managers, as well as managing vendors, on new builds or existing space upgrades throughout the construction process.Led projects involving complex solutions and integrations from multiple areas of the physical security environment, primarily within Microsoft SQL, Data Exchange, and API connectors. Integrations typically deployed, were part of the Lenel OpenAccess Alliance Program.Worked with Global Physical Security teams on escalated issues that were triaged, and root cause was unable to be identified by manufacturer. Worked independently with manufacturers in order to get custom software update releases and hot fixes that were specific to customer, developed and deployed in an acceptable timeframe. Confidently communicated timelines, metrics, as well as areas in need of improvement with executable action items, to key leadership stakeholders.Deployed a variety of cutting edge technologies including the use of radar, thermal detection, and AI data driven detection, linked through multiple domains, making alerting seamless for the Security Operations Center.

Transitioned into a new industry, gaining experience in:Physical Access Control Systems: Engineered, deployed, and configured access control systems from various manufacturers, utilizing both card readers and biometric devices. When used in police departments and detention centers, these systems were seamlessly integrated into networks for centralized touchscreen control via external relay interfaces.Wireless Networks: Achieved certifications with Aerohive and Ruckus Wireless. Performed site surveys, designed network architectures, and oversaw the deployment of robust wireless networks.Video Management Systems: Designed servers and integrated networks for enterprise-level video management systems, often incorporating Network Attached Storage (NAS) arrays to enhance data storage and retrieval capabilities.Audio Visual Systems: Developed and programmed Extron and Crestron touch panels, matrix switchers, and digital signal processors. Managed device control through Ethernet and ASCII RS-232 command protocols.Internal Network Management: Administered Applied Communications Group's internal network infrastructure, including user management via Active Directory, maintenance of the Exchange Server, implementation and management of wireless LAN controller, implementation of spam filtering solutions, VPN, and management of firewall security.
