Wow. Just realized it's been a long time since I updated this. Here we go...Aside from a brief stent at both Winn-Dixie, and Popeyes Chicken, my entire working career has been dedicated to the healthcare industry. 20 years! I know, crazy right? Well, it's my one true love (and I'm afraid of change). I started as a CNA in 2002, and continued honing my craft until 2012, when I ventured into the exciting world of Central Supply and Medical Records! I know... SUPER EXCITING! I was at a bit of cross-roads professionally a couple years later, until I discovered HR. My first HR position was simply processing new hires, and drug screening. But something about successfully on-boarding an employee and seeing them flourish at my company felt good. So, I did what we all do, and chased that good feeling. I had the best mentor, that took me under her wing, and showed me just how amazing the field of HR can be. So here I am nearly 10 years after that first experience, the HR Director for arguably one of the best companies I have ever worked for, and getting to be an advocate for the employees, as well as the company!
