I am an enthusiastic and driven Network Operations Specialist at Yorkshire Water, with 7 years of experience in the wastewater industry. Over this time, I’ve progressed from having no prior industry knowledge to becoming a technically proficient and committed professional. My journey has been fueled by my passion for learning, problem-solving, and continuously developing my skillset to meet the evolving challenges of the sector.Currently, I am working towards my HNC in Civil Engineering, expected to be completed by October 2025, while also actively engaging in various training programs to advance my capabilities. This includes completing Yorkshire Water Aspiring Colleague Pathway.I thrive in both team environments and independent roles, using my excellent communication and problem-solving skills to resolve complex network issues, including pollution management, flooding, and asset management. My current role as a Network Operations Specialist involves overseeing pollution incidents, conducting root cause analyses, managing contractors, and ensuring that safety and regulatory standards are met at all times. Additionally, I play an integral role in promoting high-risk work and managing network investments to ensure the long-term sustainability of the sewer infrastructure.I am also skilled in IT systems (including Advantex, SAP, Odyssey, and Microsoft Office) and use these tools to support network monitoring, reporting, and data analysis.I take pride in my ability to manage challenging situations and am always eager to learn and grow.
