- Assist in the structure of Physical Education- Plan and prepare learning journeys - Lead PE lessons- Lead on Extra-curricular clubs- Help + support with the organisation of ‘National Sports Week’- Plan, prepare and deliver, and support staff with the delivery of PE alongside a broad, rich and engaging PE curriculum- Help staff to develop confidence and competence by modelling good practice- Teach a range of sports and physical activities to students of different ages and abilities- Motivate students to fulfil their potential- Encourage pupils to take up new sports or athletics pursuits- Evaluate the performance of students throughout the school year- Train and coach school sports-teams to compete and succeed in nation-wide events- Support in developing appropriate intra + inter school competitions.- Help + support with the organisation of sports day- Regularly attend School Sports Partnership meetings and PE cluster meetings- Support the class teacher- Deliver tailored teaching activities to pupils on either a one-to-one basis or small groups- Ensure students are able to engage in learning and remain on task- Listen to students read- 1:1 role supporting SEN children- Lead phonics lessons- Instruct students in the sounds of letters and letter combinations to improve reading and spelling skills
