I've been engaged in the bio-pharmaceutial, medical device, and CRO industries for nearly 4 decades. I've founded or co-founded 4 companies that created over 2,200 new jobs in the industry. I've led 2 successful Initial Public Offerings, and have acquired or merged 3 additional companies with successful exits and significant return for Investors. I'm deeply interested in business management, strategy, and enhancing employee and shareholder equity. I’m quite proud to have received 2 National Service Awards for employing single mothers, and women of color; and providing college/university scholarships to help launch the careers of woman who have gone on to medical, legal and professional roles in the biopharma. industry.Since 1979 I've held Management and Sr. Management roles in the Analytical Laboratory & Gene Sequencing systems, and Pharmaceutical Process Development/Scale Up fields. I led the GMP conversion of a (small batch) Manufacturing Company into a pilot plant for new pharmaceutical and biologic products used for early stage clinical trials; mostly for Oncology and Rare Disease indications. We manufactured one of the first commercial monoclonal antibody drugs (biologics), and the first protease inhibitor (drug) for HIV/AIDS clinical trials. In 1992, I Co-Founded and took Public (via IPO) the first commercial Site Management Organization, and was involved in a series of new company startups ranging from Patient Recruitment to Full Service CROs. I’m the Co-Founder and President of Provident Research, Inc. We focus on FSP and Full-Service talent solutions with emphasis on Medical Device, Oncology and Neuroscience indications. My experiences, and business interests involve the U.S., European, and Pan-Asian markets with a strong understanding of international trade and finance.
