I am a Computer Science graduate from Michigan Technological University looking to obtain a position that will utilize my technical and creative skills to assist a company in achieving its software and business goals. Please contact me at nbmoon@mtu.edu.I have always been driven to create. Through art, stories, and many different types of games, there was always some creative project that I was working on. For a long time, I thought that I would best use this creativity in making video games. When I first dipped my toes into creating programs, I discovered that software development in its entirety, not just video game development, was an exciting world full of creative possibilities!Since then, I have been working on many software projects, both academic and personal. As I learn more about programming, I am always thinking about how to practically use what I learn to develop amazing software. When I was president of the Pokémon League at Michigan Tech, I developed a program that would assist us in running our tournaments. During my course on databases, I teamed up with a friend to create an exam taking website. When working on a team software project, I was always attempting to push the boundaries of what was possible with the game that we were building. While I was running a Dungeons and Dragons game, I created a program to generate random characters and encounters. Currently, I am working on developing my own video game, with the intention of continuing to learn and the hope of publishing it someday!I am proficient with Java, C, C++, mySQL, PHP, Python, and using Linux machines. I have also been teaching myself how to use HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
