Commercial Vehicle Operation/Food Distribution - safely operate an over-the-road tractor trailer at all times and deliver product to specified route of restaurants on time with the best accuracy possible in a friendly professional manner. Unloads or assists in the unloading of product from the trailer to customers. Safely operates a semi-truck with trailer according to state and federal laws. Transports product load over route to proper destinations observing all company policies, safety regulations, and traffic laws. Obtains all required paperwork in pouch, correctly checks product when unloading, obtains any necessary signatures upon delivery, and returns all completed paperwork to transportation office after returning from route. Maintains any required records completely and correctly. Keeps both tractor and trailer safe and organized during the route.

Honor Guard Technician/Trainer – I was responsible for teaching and training Army/Air-Guard service members IAW federal training standards and guidelines pertaining to funeral/ceremonial duties. As the head trainer for the state, developing as well as writing standard operating procedures for the State of Maryland’s honor guard organization was part of my additional duties. My duties also included but not limited to high profile government ceremonies, as well as a direct liaison with the public and other government organizations such as but not limited to Police, Fire Department, American Legion and other public and private groups.

In my final 4 years of serving in the active army I was a Non-commissioned officer. My responsibilities primarily were leadership development of up and coming service members as well as all training, moral and well being of 3-9 man team/squad. During this period I was responsible for multimillion dollars worth of government equipment, ranging from vehicles to different types of weapons systems and other sensitive as well as classified equipment. I was also an intricate part in many training exercises as well as serving as primary instructor for different phases of the development of new soldiers and officers in the US Army. In 2005 during Operation Iraqi III I was assigned to FOB Gabe in Baquba Iraq. While there I served as a combat team-leader. My primary duties included preparing a 5 man weapons squad fire team for various combat operations. That included but not limited to insuring that my soldiers were mentally and tactically proficient in all areas of combat operations as well as the administrative duties included with those operations. In 2002 I served as the head escort of chapel services at Arlington National Cemetery. My primary responsibilities included but not limited to being the primary liaison for the Old Guard to the grieving families of deceased service members. I ensured that all chapel services ran smoothly and comfortably for family members of all of the 5 services of the US Armed Forces. The first five years of my military career was as a quartermaster, chemical equipment/light wheeled vehicle mechanic. My responsibilities included teaching, mentoring, instructing in various maintenance areas ranging from running service teams and incidental maintenance teams to teaching troubleshooting techniques, and the use of sensitive and classified materials.
