I am currently providing project management and CEQA/NEPA support for a variety of projects.

I currently support many on going energy projects. I provide GIS support at all stages of project development. I provide avian, botanical and special-status survey support.

I was the field lead and project manager to several coastal nesting grounds utilized by the endangered California Least Tern as well as other shorebirds. I observed the nesting colonies and gave recommendations as to how best maintain the local population with regards to human interaction as well as predator management. During this time the main project site I managed was the Port of Los Angeles where we were able to oversee, observe and record data of annual breeding parameters (fledgling success) to report to the California Department of Fish and Wildlife for population census and health information. Additional colonies studied and revisited were: Venice Beach, Bolsa Chica, Newport Back Bay, Batiquitos Lagoon and San Diego Salt Works. I have conducted California Least Tern foraging and transit surveys, banded, and participated in numerous ornithological studies involving radio telemetry, geo-diode attachments, live trapping, nest mapping, foraging/diet/droppings studies. Elegant terns nested in close proximity in large numbers and I managed the cohabitation of these species at Pier 400, Terminal Island, CA.
