Working in Telstra's facilities engineering group I was part of a small team that helped plan upgrades to Telstra's network infrastructure, particularly for power and air-conditioning in telephone exchanges. In this role I helped reduce the costs of the NBN roll-out by planning efficient construction projects, reducing Telstra's carbon footprint, as well as designing a program that predicted battery failure, allowing for more proactive battery replacement in network equipment leading to a more reliable network for Australia

Performed mechatronics engineering for a start-up funded by Wade Institute at Ormond College. Constructing a smart brooder that was designed to reduce the stress on infant chickens. This was shown to reduce required feed, leading to cost saving in industrial poultry farming. Utilising knowledge of C++, Mechanical Engineering, 3D Printing.
