Designed and implemented effective lesson plans and courses of study for Specialist Contemporary Music students from years 7 – 12. This included a Year 9 unit on Jazz Improvisation, Functional Harmony and composing melodies over Rhythm Changes.Organised set-up and running of the end of year Extravaganza with my colleagues. This included preparing the school hall with the all of the relevant musical gear.Part of the Year 7/8 Specialist Music Camp, which involved intensive rehearsal sessions and extracurricular team-building exercises.Assisted in running our Autumn Concert, which involved our Jazz Big Band, Flute Choir, Primary School Orchestra, Vocal Choir and various solo acts.Organised multiple musical items for school assembles throughout the year and assisted with the live sound and lighting.Designed, taught and assessed ICT music technology skills using Garageband, Sibelius and Logic Pro X.Successfully implemented behavior management strategies to engage more challenging general music classes. In 2020, I also designed a new specialist martial arts program to cater to the business requirements of the school. As Fremantle College is continually growing, the Deputy Principal needed extra classes to fill options in year 9 and 10. I designed a practical and safe martial arts program that is linked to the sport curriculum to meet those needs

Delivered comprehensive classroom lessons in a Specialist Western Art program for years 7 – 12.Delivered content for Certificate III and IV in Western Art Music.Developed comprehensive lesson plans to achieve efficacious learning outcomes.Incorporated literacy and numeracy into lesson designs to adhere to the national learning progressions.Conducted the senior choir. Conducted the junior and senior wind ensembles, which included many tuition sessions working on the percussive elements in the arrangements.Designed and delivered a drumming/percussion program for a year 11 student who missed out on receiving tuition through IMSS due to other commitments. I took this on as an additional role.Implemented behaviour management strategies that promote fairness and responsibility.Provided formative feedback to students in a timely manner in order to achieve positive learning outcomes.I was a part of their annual lower school music camp, which included duties such as providing pastoral care, supervision, leading team building exercises and delivering camping activities.
