Very determined in ensuring anything I put my mind to is a success. Starting as a Volunteer for charities such as HCPT is where I gained the confidence and desire to work with people of all walks of life. Taking Handicapped Children to a Pilgrimage in Lourdes, South of France was an insight into how important it was for me to continue to be of aid in peoples lives. Whilst studying at University I joined a private company Nelbro Care which focussed on the integration of Young adults with mental health needs into society but also ensuring that their needs are met within the comfort of their living space as well. The implementation of day trips, self-care, administering medication on a daily basis instilled the very essence of time management within me that I have carried onto further fields of employment.Currently as a Learning Support Professional I am working with children from the ages of 6-11 and all the transferrable skills that I have acquired have not only helped in this field but have opened me up to learning more skills such as working in a team, focussing on children's needs within the classroom and outside the classroom. In turn, creating a safe space for children in which they able to confide about any troubles at home or within school so that when there is concern it would be shared confidentially with the safeguard team or Senior leadership.
