Maintain the LIMS system at the Agawam facility. Create and update test methods, specifications, and data entry into the LIMS system. Create and monitor users and profiles within the system, for both clients and users. Troubleshoot issues that arise with the calculations performed by the LIMS system to ensure reports are created and distributed correctly and accurately. Extract data from the LIMS system in order to create better understanding of incoming and outgoing testing being performed by the site.

Receiving and verifying the accuracy of client samples. Assigning numbers to each sample and entering them into the system. Scanning and preparing the final folders to be sent to the lab for testing along with the labeled sample. Also, data entry of the completed tests and results for proper distribution to the clients.

Receiving and verifying patient samples, sorting and sending specimens to the proper testing location. Solving problems that arose from incorrect requisition forms, and making sure that testing is performed as quickly as possible once the problems are solved. Receiving microbiology testing samples, preparing plates and slides, and placing in the proper areas for incubation.
