In my current full-time job, I roast several coffee varieties for a diverse line of products, for everyone from everyday consumers to connoisseurs. This includes operating not just a 100-pound coffee roaster, but packaging and other machines as well. I and the rest of the team are dedicated to meeting quality, health, and safety standards in everything we do.As an educator, I provide immersive English-language education based on American Common Core Standards to children in China. This not only gives young Chinese a leg up in English but also introduces them to Western educational and cultural systems, with the goal of preparing them for fulfilling futures as they become young adults in an increasingly interconnected world.In my previous position, I provided a variety of services to Japanese students of English at all levels, including consistent and reliable immersive English-language tutelage geared toward the needs of native speakers of Japanese, but also the translation and analysis of texts ranging from medical to culinary fields and beyond, all with the goal of providing the best and timely services to my students. Day-to-day office activities included interpreting between English and Japanese-speaking staff, organizing school campaigns, and understanding and communicating financial goals in a prompt fashion in a cross-cultural environment.
