In February of 2024, I was offered a position of Senior Digital Strategist at MVAR Media. In this role, my knowledge of digital strategy has grown exponentially. I am currently managing digital programs for clients - both hard and soft side - across multiple swing states with budgets exceeding millions of dollars. I also meet with campaigns for local office weekly to advise on communications, fundraising, and organizing.So far in the 2024 cycle, I've managed digital programs for winning candidates up and down the ballot across multiple states.

I returned to Blueprint Interactive in August of 2023, this time as a Senior Digital Associate. In this role I strategized, developed, and managed digital ad campaigns for clients in the advocacy, non-profit, independent expenditure, and electoral space with budgets exceeding a million dollars. Fresh off a campaign that exceeded fundraising expectations, I was also a useful team member to Blueprint's digital fundraising team. On the fundraising team I managed email programs for multiple clients – from drafting to analytics – and raised over $500,000 for various candidates, PACs and IEs.I was also proud to be a leader on one of Blueprint's few social media clients. I designed and executed a robust social media plan that built on the engagement and audience growth for an organization with 150,000+ followers. I drafted daily social media content in accordance with the social media plan underquick deadlines; monitored social media and relevant news to produce rapid response tweets; and clipped TV appearances and public facing events for social media.

I was the campaign manager for Makya Little, who ran for Virginia's House of Delegates in the 19th District, which represents portions of Prince William and Fairfax counties. This position included managing a team consisting of finance, field, communications, digital and volunteer outreach departments. During my time as manager, the campaign launched a primary campaign in a competitive district which included but was not limited to: interviewing and hiring consultants, executing a campaign rollout, planning multiple fundraisers and continuing the trend of being the top fundraiser in the race.

During the 2022 election cycle, I worked as a Digital Campaigns Associate with Blueprint Interactive. In this position I partnered with designers, analysts, and developers to coordinate on digital advertising campaigns, website development, fundraising, and other projects for Democratic campaigns and organizations across the country.

Striving to better my campaign organizational skills, I applied and was accepted to Bluebonnet Data's Campaign Tech Fellowship. This fellowship trained me on the basics of political campaigns and how to implement important digital media and organizing tools. My responsibilities as a Fellow were to guide and instruct political campaigns on how to use digital tools such as social media, digital ads, voter outreach software, and fundraising tools.

After working for her Magistrate campaign, Flora Stuart offered me a full-time position in her office as a law clerk. The position allowed me to learn applicable marketing skills, like ad creation and targeting, as well as social media management.

Along with working on William Compton's campaign for Congress, I also held a position as Campaign Manager for Flora Stuart's campaign for Magistrate in Warren County. In this role I was given the chance to organize a comprehensive campaign and field plan, along with delegate and train volunteers.

My role for William Compton's congressional campaign focused on the communication between voters, community organizations, and our campaign. Our campaign's primary goal was to engage the people of Kentucky's 2nd Congressional District in the political process by outreach, event facilitating, and various organizing strategies.

After living for a year on campus, I decided to accept a position as a Resident Assistant for WKU Housing and Residence Life. This position allowed me to use my leadership skills to perform the more traditional responsibilities of event planning, meeting facilitating, and conflict mediation. Additionally, this position taught me many valuable skills like crisis management, interpersonal counseling, and report writing.

During my junior year at WKU, I had the opportunity to enroll in the Political Campaign Management course. This course allowed me to meet and work for Carlos Bailey, a lawyer who was running for Bowling Green City Commission. After an interview with Carlos, I was accepted by his campaign as a Field Director Intern. This internship allowed me to work under the campaign's Field Director and gain the skills necessary to work in local politics. This experience allowed me to work with various campaign software like VAN/VoteBuilder and ThruText. I gained valuable communication skills through this internship by presenting my tasks and assignments at weekly strategy meetings.
