I like to think that there is always something that needs to be done. I am almost always keeping myself occupied whether it is completing a task, getting ahead, or learning a new skill. As a college student, I seek to constantly challenge myself and grow as a professional.My interest in technology has led me to pursue a degree in Analytics and Information Management and minors in Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Connecticut. In my first three years, I have developed a basic understanding of Excel, Python, database design, SQL, C#, C, data structures, and the data science pipeline. In the coming semesters, I plan to further develop these skills as well, develop other skills in areas such as C++, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, as well as pursue a thesis in the realm of analytics.I also have experience working in a collaborative environment to get tasks done. I have been involved in a variety of group projects in which I have worked on a team to do things such as create a database for the use of an insurance company with SQL, create a game using C#, as well as develop a plan to market an existing product in other countries. In the past, I have worked with others as a camp counselor to create engaging activities for children and to teach children new skills. These experiences have helped me strengthen my communicative and relationship-building skills. I am currently working as a Business Analyst at Travelers as part of the Business Insights and Analytics Leadership Development Program (BI&A LDP).
