Replaced a third-party vendor as the sole developer of Groundwork's email correspondence with customers. Designed and built a WYSIWYG block editor that componentized email elements and reduced the turnaround time of email creation from 36 hours to 5 minutes. Emails can now be comprised in a meeting with marketing teammates who can now be much more agile in their approach to marketing and inside sales.This system was built with scale in mind. The email block editor is now being used by our internal communications team as well as other parts of Groundwork's sales funnel. We are sending accurate, accessible, consistent, and productive emails fueling a $1 billion business while maintaining this custom-built system with two employees (a product owner and myself).Our mighty team of two continues to succeed. Now that we have built the foundation for a system that replaced a $10k per month vendor, we can now take on other responsibilities which include developing full-stack applications.
