Founded a ~20-member club at my high school based on my love for medicine and science! We meet every other week with presentations focused on learning the science behind diseases, understanding the physiology of various systems of the body, and planning upcoming fundraisers. We have raised $6,000+ for the American Cancer Society and Jimmy Fund via Putting4Patients event with Dana-Farber, car wash fundraisers, and bake sales/traditional fundraisers.Topics include...- Innate and Adaptive Immunity- Pathophysiology of HIV/AIDS- Gliomas (Vestibular Schwannomas and Glioblastomas)- Meningiomas- Multiple Sclerosis/Demyelination- Botulinum and Tetanus- Myasthenia Gravis and CMS- Much more!

Teach peers entrepreneurship, marketing, and finance lessons; worked with Tufts speakers; raised $2000+ for senior scholarships and club competitions. I was also recently tasked with dissolving North's various sections of business-related clubs into one general club. My solution created a "wing" of business clubs incorporating the Business Club, Women in Business Club, Economics Club, Investment Club, and Wharton Investment Competition Club as chapters under this wing. I now oversee and direct this wing as we cycle through chapter meetings.

Worked to guide students within the program through tips and advice, along with helping the program run smoothly. Specifically, I mentored 2 startup teams throughout their journeys (one of which went on to win 2nd Place in the TYE Global Competition). Also, I served as a Guest Panelist in a prospective student information session.
Worked towards meeting specific fundraising goals, helped plan, run, and manage fundraisers and money, and occasionally ran club lessons and activities. These experiences, along with attending the club meetings, helped me develop my knowledge of the business field, something I believe is becoming increasingly crucial to understand.

The TYE program works to help high-school students navigate the world of business and create their own start-ups. They provide mentors to guide each start-up, guest speakers to inspire members, and lectures and activities to teach the students. As a TYE student, I worked as the CEO of Vitality, a proposed medical device start-up. The start-up proposed a compression-less mechanism for measuring blood pressure, ECG, heart rate, and temperature from the wrist. Blood pressure would be measured through percent changes in radial artery flow - relative to a baseline. Measuring heart rate, temperature, and checking ECG for Atrial Fibrillation would be done through PPG, infrared radiation, and ECG technology. I had the product idea, looked into the specific technology along with its logistics and practicality, worked with engineers, helped conduct market research, and interviewed various nurses and medical professionals.
