After living in Boston, a Parisian suburb, and London during a number of attacks, I decided to put my degree in Fashion Merchandising on hold. Protection felt like a calling, so I transferred from London back to the states to study conflict and security. I wanted to understand that world better to protect people from threats. I was described by my professor and an industry leader mentor as someone who is "curious, takes intellectual risks, of strong character, and carries himself with confidence under pressure". Since I have been working in the global security field, I have contributed to organizational risk mitigation by protecting global assets and employees from threats. This has been through proactive, in-depth area research, risk assessments, mass communication and alerting, investigations, as well as briefing senior stakeholders. I am a humanist, a team builder, and an enthusiastic leader from academia, work, to community organizing. Driven to protect and elevate our most vulnerable.
