Designed, constructed, and installed an automated hydraulic based start-stop system for use on school buses in order to achieve fuel savings as well as reduced emissions and reduced engine wear caused by unnecessary idling

As part of WISE (Washington Internships for Students of Engineering), researched, wrote, and presented a public policy paper on the use of biodiesel to make school buses more efficient, pollute less, and cost less to run. Also met with leaders in Congress, the White House administration, federal agencies, industry, and prominent non-governmental organizations.

Engineered retrofits and modifications to existing steam turbines based on customer requests for greater power, more reliability, higher efficiency, etc. Interfaced between customers, sourcing, engineering, and commercial teams in order to provide customer solutions.
