• Worked with manufacturing engineering to reduce production time. Processed time studies in AVIX for Euro variance engines along with updated old times with process changes and layout changes. Approximately 80 work instructions were updated with, picture changes, Addressing quality issues and Instruction order layout. Modified part fixture for sub assembly station using Inventor, Operator had to switch fixture piece for various sized water pumps. Modified the fixture that would work for all water pump sizes. Resulting in saving 5.6 seconds to every engine. Station layout change due to a part being added to that station along with improving layout to save production time, resulting in saving 12 seconds to 5% engine builds. Implementation cost ~$7K Improvement benefit ~$82K. Part of the manufacturing engineering team with the objective to continuously improve final line. Major project was to reduce or eliminate downtime caused by debris getting caught underneath AGV that results in average 17 mins of downtime, designed a V-shaped brush in inventor and created multiple prototypes leading to ordering supplies and being processed to all AGVs on final line.

• Worked with project engineers to improve quality of products. Process, test and analyze both EGR valve returns from Volvo, as well as natural gas valve returns, such as fuel regulators, fuel control valves, fuel shut off valves, and air relief valves received from Cummins to determine the root cause. Track, document and report new failures modes. Sort, analyze and researched remanufactured EGR samples by testing wear and performing teardowns of received parts. Design experiments used for testing wear along piston shafts and seals. Revise and create work instructions and process flow chart, including testing, teardown, and analysis procedures.
