I am a self-motivated and detail-oriented safety professional with a Construction Safety Specialist (CSS) designation and a National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) designation. Currently, I am studying for my Occupational Health and Safety Certificate. I have enjoyed a career spanning almost 16 years in the Oil and Gas and Construction industry and 13 of those years were spent in the capacity of HSE Advisor and HSE Lead where I was deeply involved in providing site safety and implementing safety directions for field workers with crews from 10 to 100+ members. I also have experience and proven success in developing and implementing Safety and Loss Prevention Programs. Site safety is a critical factor that forms my main focus as a safety professional conducting the following essential duties: conducting daily evaluations of Field Level Hazard Assessments (FLHA’s) and guiding the crew members to complete the assessments and catch all hazards; investigate all injuries and accidents and provide reports; conduct safety meetings & safe starts and provide awareness of OHS and government legislation and facilitating the Hazard Identification program.During my career, I have developed management skills including risk, project, business, time, and resource management, and expertise in site-safety inspections. I have also amassed functional capabilities such as auditing, incident reporting, and equipment operations.
