I believe in hard work pays off. I put all of my effort into what ever job or assignment I am given. I like learning new fields and I like learning about new technologies which is where my interest lies. I stay on task and work to the best of my ability and meet deadlines if not meeting them I finish the work before the deadline being given. I am very logical in thinking but have a different way of thinking which gives me an advantage in the engineering fields where thinking outside of the box is an advantage.I am a honest and believe lies just lead to more lies which lead to disaster in the end. This is an advantage in the engineering world and with people in general as being honest usually forms trust and a good working connection with those around. I am very enthusiastic about my work and what I do no matter the job. I always want to improve the process whether it is for efficiency, quality of the product or quality of life improvements for the workers involved which all increase production in a work place when implemented.I am very dedicated to my career and I am driven by my own ambition to be at the top one day. I know there is a ladder to climb to the top but I know one day I will be there at a managers position or my goal being a managing director or a CEO or an equivalent position in a company. I take the initiative when I can as mentioned in my work for Buy it direct. If there is a job that needs doing or I am waiting for something to be completed before I can move on I will always find something else that I could be working on. I do not like being in a workplace and not doing anything as I am being paid to be there and work. I am not afraid to ask for help if needed. A lot of people if they get stuck just give up or take a brake but I would rather seek someone out who might know the knowledge or that I know would have the knowledge to help me move on.Why I chose engineering: I chose it because I love learning about how the things I use everyday works and that I love to take something that is broken apart and try to find a solution to fix it. I like trying to understand the world around me due to curiosity which is one of my main drives to learn. I like to tinker and methodically work out an issue and possibly try something new that no one has thought of or very few people would think of. The process of figuring out a problem and succeeding at the end I feel is the best feeling in the world and gives a great deal of satisfaction when finished.

Worked on developing wiring diagrams and worked with codesys to map out a vehicle communications network and data mining the messages in the network and the signals in those messages down to the bit level (each message had 8 bytes and each byte has 8 bits)

I separated the different materials that would be brought back from white goods installations and electronic device installations. This material was packed and put on wooden pallets ready to be taken away from the warehouse site to be recycled. There was heavy and dangerous machinery involved to compact the different materials and there was a lot of organisation involved as there was not much space to work with compared to the amount of material that was delivered to the site as this was the only recycling area for 3 warehouses. This was quite a fast paced job to keep up with the recycling but in-between deliveries I use to do what is called "picking" which needed attention to detail as the sku's for the products could change by a single letter or number. I also helped with shipping and loading if there was no need to help with picking. I also cleaned the warehouse too making sure the warehouse floor was always debris free.I did not just stick to the job I was given and helped any way I could in the warehouse if I had any spare time from recycling

I started on washing dishes and anything used in the cooking process and all the plates that came back from customers, I also was a cleaner which required basic chemical training due to the cleaning chemicals used.I was then put on puddings which was slower paced than washing up but was more attention to detail and following a strict standard for the quality and the placement of the deserts. Then finally I worked on starters which again was the same level of attention to detail as the deserts but at a much faster pace than both pot washing and deserts. There was a lot of teamwork involved as the starters had to co-ordinate perfectly with whoever was on the mains side of things which were also co-ordinating with the front of house staff so teamwork was largely a part of this job. The kitchen had to be organised otherwise the job would have been difficult since each plate had specific garnishings and specific ingredients that needed to be assembled on a plate and if something was not in the right place then it would put the process on hold until the correct ingredients were found. Also preparation was key making sure that all the ingredients were labelled correctly and ready to use at a moments notice.

I started on quality control for the raw salmon which required fast paced attention to detail as many packets of the fish fillets would go past the quality control section every second so it was very fast paced. Then I worked on packing which was even faster paced and required good hand-eye co-ordination to put the product in the boxes at a fast rate and then close the box and put it on a pallet in a specific way so that all the boxes would stay in place when moved. This required helping anyone that fell behind as the lines would get filled quite fast and block the production line if someone fell back so there was quite a bit of team work involved making sure everyone was up to speed.Food hygiene was a big thing so we were trained in how to dispose of raw meat and other foods properly and how to keep a clean work space for health and safety as well as food hygiene. I was also given the opportunity to run a line by myself while one of the line managers went on holiday. I was in charge of a team of 8 people and we got the job done before the deadline with very good quality products that went off to be sold in Asda.
