CurrentCommunicate with a variety of land management agencies to understand needs and goals for projects that ACE teams can help completePrepare and plan for safe and effective work conditions for traveling teams, including emergency response plans, travel directions, resupply plans, corresponding with partnering land agencies to identify priority sites, packing food for teams, packing work equipment for projects, and arranging camping sites, sometimes in backcountry settingsManage ArcGIS maps with ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS ArcCollector software to create maps for use in the field by teams, and for project reportingCompile project accomplishment data, utilizing GIS and other software for reporting after completion of a project for partnership correspondence and complianceTrain teams for restoration work, including identifying non-native and rare native plant species of California, chemical and physical removal of non-native plants, maintenance of work equipment, and surveying and mapping with GPSObtain and maintain California Qualified Applicator's License, and train teams on safe practices of handling pesticidesMaintain and report project paperwork, including weekly reports, daily pesticide use reports, safety briefings, and incident reportsTrain new team members on safe and responsible operation of pesticide equipment and brushcuttersInventory and maintain stock of PPE and first aid for team
