Moving from a basic Customer Service role into a more complex Sales Support environment, I learned to appreciated the value of strong communication and listening skills and applied my fundamental knowledge of customer service to the Sales Support position, while broadening my knowledge of sales and the print industry.Some achievements during this time include:• Championing Salesforce CRM and ongoing training and user adoption• Learning the Sales Order entry process (SOP) originally using manual paperwork• Entering information directly into the ERP (Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains)• Building a strong working knowledge of multiple clients unique print requirements • Assisting Account Managers with the sales process from pre to post sale. • Learning basic reporting and developing custom and standard reports for clients and Sales Managers• Managing events, functions and Marketing Campaigns• Point of contact for Lanier Customer inquiries and escalations For the first 18 months at Lanier, I was the single Sales Support resource for the Commercial, Major and Global Major Accounts teams in NSW. With the rapid growth in sales over this time, I approached and collaborated with HR and Management to set up channel specific Support roles to compliment the individual requirements of each division. I assisted in the interview, selection criteria and training process for these resources to take on the new roles.
