This position really shaped who I am today in my working career and helped develop those skills which prepared me to handle almost any situation when it comes to running a business, driving sales and revenue and developing a strong team! There is no question this position made me a very strong candidate for a number of different positions in any organization, particularly when it comes to sales, operations or management positions. I was directly responsible for 18+ locations and over 100 staff members and indirectly responsible for 30+ locations and 200+ staff members around BC! My main objective was to assist the locations grow their revenue year over year by securing corporate and retail accounts while liasing with support departments and locations to control expenses and increase profit margins. I was directly responsible for recruiting and developing new team members with location managers and handling day to day human resources responsibilities and disciplinary actions to build strong teams that consistently outperform the revenue and profit forecasts for the year. Part of this process was playing a key role in developing and maintaining a sales incentive program and consistently coaching managers and team members to achieve and exceed their sales goals and drive additional revenue.
