Upon finishing my A-levels and leaving school, I applied to join the Royal Marines. This was stimulated by my passion for fitness, the outdoors and my joy of working within a team environment. During my time in the Royal Marines I learnt alot of skills such as organisational skills, working on my own initiative and an overall level of professionalism in everything I do and taking pride in my work. I also was awarded the Commando Medal on completion. After my service I began working in the Leisure industry as a lifeguard and spin instructor. I enjoyed this work as I could improve upon first aid skills and could help people on their fitness journeys. After a year in leisure I turned my hand to security and I completed the Phoenix Close Protection course. While on this course I completed fire arms training, evasive driving, unarmed combat, conflict management, physical intervention, surveillance and CPO training. I was appointed as Team Leader for our operation with real clientele at the end of course. Upon completion I also completed FREC 3 training first aid.
