IT Support Manager and Software Engineering student. I am currently striving to gain more experience by working in the IT industry at Sportsman's Warehouse. Through this job I have learned the value of good communication, patience and persistence as I have solved problems, fixed technical issues, and engineered ways to make the company overall more efficient. Previously I worked as a Music Director at Oxbow Academy, a residential facility for boys with sexual addictions. This job required key communication skills as I worked with the boys in teaching them music. It also required much communication as I spoke to other staff, therapists and parents so we could find the best path to help this boy on the road of recovery. I am continuing my education at Utah Valley University working on my Software Engineering degree with the hope to graduate in spring of 2023. My goal is to find a company who will value the combination of an experienced IT Technician and Software Engineer. I work best when I am interacting with others, tackling problems, discovering new business opportunities and working with a team of diverse perspectives. During my spare time I love hiking, swimming, traveling and spending time with my wife.
