I am a tax senior manager in the Louisville commercial practices division of the regional CPA firm Blue & Co., LLC. Some of my key competencies include the areas of C and S-Corporations, partnerships, high wealth individuals, and fiduciary taxation. Blue and Co. ranks as the 51st largest CPA firm in the U.S. by Accounting Today. It has grown since 1970 to ten offices in four states (Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, and Texas). Blue has consistently been ranked a "Best Places to Work" and "Best Employer" in Kentucky, Indiana, and Ohio.Prior to joining Blue & Co., I served as a partner of a local tax practice in the Louisville area specializing in small to midsize closely held businesses and individuals from 2009 to 2015. I started my public tax accounting profession with one of the Big 4 public accounting firms KPMG in Louisville from 2001 to 2008. During that time, I spent 18 months on rotation at their Washington National Tax accounting methods group. I developed specialties in accounting and inventory methods and income tax provisions while there. I also teach on an adjunct basis at a few of the local universities in and around Louisville from time to time. I graduated from Bellarmine University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting as well as a Masters in Business Administration.
