Primary resource for all underwriting tasks for commercial loan requests to Business Banking segment clients with revenues between $10-$75 Million in the Triad region with $3 Million credit decision authority. Provides structuring advice to client teams and credit partners, completion of customized credit approval packages, pricing models, approval memos and other standard documents and management of the documentation process to ensure on-time loan booking Analyze commercial risks and identify mitigants, recommend risk ratings, exposure strategies, credit structures and sponsor recommendations through the approval process. Interfaces with client teams, risk, structured credit, servicing and legal partners to support the timely delivery of the credit process to Triad market partners and clients.

Ensures overall performance of commercial loan portfolio that maintains strong asset quality and proactively manages risk. Partners with Account Officers as liaison to the credit department, commercial support staff, and other internal business partners/teammates. Completes initial due diligence/financial analysis, provides input to structuring credit transactions, and conducts underwriting of new credit requests and renewals on credit relationships in excess of $1.0MM. Manges the loan portfolio's compliance with credit and risk policies and practices by monitoring the performance of existing borrowers, ensuring all tracking requirements are in place and all documentation is up-to-date according to the conditions of the credit approval/policies, and proactively managing the portfolio's maturing loans. Coordinates and completes annual reviews and loan maturities on a timely basis.
