I’ve always loved taking things apart just to figure out how they work—whether it was remote-controlled cars as a kid or an electric go-kart in high school. That curiosity and hands-on mentality carried me through my Mechanical Engineering degree at Texas A&M, where I tackled everything from my senior capstone project to rebuilding 3D printers in my free time.In college, I even built an electric bike, which became my primary mode of transportation to and from school. That project taught me the importance of efficiency and resourcefulness—not just in design, but in everyday life.I enjoy the process of creating something tangible, whether it's working in CAD, performing validation testing, or maintaining my own vehicles and marine engines. There’s something satisfying about knowing that a well-maintained machine will run efficiently and last longer and that mindset fuels my approach to engineering. As Treasurer of the Texas A&M Society of Automotive Engineers Student Chapter, I developed leadership and communication skills, organizing fundraising events and working with multidisciplinary teams. My internship at Houston METRO gave me a chance to contribute to large-scale energy transition strategies, where I got to see how engineering can drive real-world change.I’m very excited to take the valuable skills I’ve learned and apply them to a mechanical engineering role. I’m looking for an opportunity where I can keep building on my skills, work with great teams, and create real solutions that make a difference. I love solving complicated problems, and I’m eager to learn and ready to take on whatever challenge comes next.
