Senior Drilling Engineer - Coil Tubing DrillingResponsible for hopper development, planning and executing CTD sidetracks on the North Slope (Prudhoe Bay), managing coiled tubing stock, etc.

Alaska

Plan and execute horizontal grassroots wells and horizontal sidetracks. - Plan decomplete activities including casing cut and pulls and tie-backs. - Worked as an integral member of diverse teams to plan and execute the wells. - Drilled wells with motors and RSS assemblies. - Performed many drilling engineering associated activities including but not limited to cost estimating, cost management, torque and drag modeling, drilling fluid selection, drill bit selection, casing design, material management, writing well programs, troubleshooting problems during execution, etc. - Planned and executed 18 wells. - Key participant in an automation trial using wired drill pipe.

Anchorage, Alaska Area

Planned and executed 20 through tubing coil tubing sidetracks using 2" and 2-3/8" coil tubing. - Cemented and perforated completions, slotted liners, and open hole completions.- Experience with managed pressure drilling. - All wells drilled using solids free brine based mud systems.- Variety of prep work performed to ready the parent wells to be sidetracked (e-line, coil, etc). - Use Cerberus for the majority of the modeling needed to plan and execute the wells. - Responsibilities included but were not limited to weight transfer modeling using Cerberus, casing design, cost estimating, cost management, troubleshooting during well execution, writing well programs, etc.- Worked as an integral member of a diverse team to plan and execute the sidetracks.

Houston - Wamsutter

Planned and executed 30 S-shaped pad wells- Three to twelve wells per pad.- 2 string casing design. Graduated from BP's Challenge Program.- Took courses on many topics including drill string design, casing design, drilling fluids, cost estimating, downhole problems, completion design, etc.
