Currently, I am pursuing a combined master's degree in computer science and cybersecurity engineering at the University of San Diego. I have a special interest in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, penetration testing, and hardware optimization, and I am eager to learn new technologies and broaden my skill set as an engineering professional. I am also proficient in vulnerability management, Kali Linux, and Django, and I have received multiple honors for my academic performance, including Dean's Scholar and Dean's List First Honors along with academic excellence scholarships. I am a self-motivated leader who knows how to work with and lead teams of people to successfully solve problems. My goal is to apply my knowledge and experience to create innovative and impactful solutions in the field of computer science and cyber security.As a former leading engineering laboratory technician in the US Navy, I have acquired extensive skills and experience in nuclear engineering, mechanical systems, radiological controls, and nuclear water chemistry. As an adaptable and capable supervisor, I led a division of technicians on board operational and deployed fast attack submarines, where I managed the nuclear reactor water chemistry, performed preventative and corrective maintenance, trained nuclear sailors, and oversaw the radiological health program. I also contributed to streamlining technological procedures and developing engineering packages, while adhering to strict quality assurance guidelines.
