I am a junior in Civil Engineering at Purdue University (West Lafayette, IN). Over the summer, I wish to gain valuable experience through internship positions.Through my summer internships with Tetra Tech and Rudolph Libbe Inc. (Toledo, OH), I gained meaningful exposure to both the civil engineering and construction industries. With Tetra Tech, I completed roadway, earthwork, drainage, and signage subsummaries; designed reinforcing steel layouts; and calculated bridge quantities. With Rudolph Libbe Inc., I updated construction documents, coordinated site deliveries, and completed daily progress reports. Both internships taught me to act professionally, do work that I am proud of putting my name on, and be ready for the unexpected.In high school, I spent two and a half years lifeguarding at my local Young Men's Christian Association (YMCA) and outdoor pool. This experience taught me to manage my time effectively, take responsibility for my actions, handle high-stress situations, and communicate with my teammates.At Purdue University, I have worked my way to a 3.94 GPA. Outside of class, I keep myself busy by being the president of Purdue’s Parkour and Calisthenics Club and running in Purdue’s annual half-marathon. As an intern, I will do what is asked of me, keep an open mind, and give it my all.
