•Responsible for leading a crew of 20 Instrumentation and Electrical technicians.•Understand, communicate and enforce site policies and procedures.•Coach employees in teamwork, motivation and problem solving by providing performance feedback and annual documented performance reviews.•Responsible for tracking vacation/disability for each technician and verifying that SAP data was updated accordingly.•Ensure that work is carried out in a safe and efficient manner. Continually working with operations leaders to meet the needs of the plant.•Ensure that monthly, quarterly and annual PM’s were carried out on target and according to the procedure.•Assist in development of Standard Maintenance Procedures for use in the maintenance department.•Attend weekly planning meetings with maintenance planners and operations stakeholders to coordinate work flow for efficient and safe plant start- up/operation.•Use SAP to locate parts on site. Look for any Immediate/disruptive work orders in the system on a daily basis.•Evaluate urgency of disruptive work orders and re-deploy resources as needed to meet the needs of the plant.•Help generate bills of material for new equipment installed in the plant.•Work with plant engineering and project engineers on evaluating, and checkout of installation of process equipment, ensuring HSC standards were upheld and adhered to by contractors.•Hold monthly safety meetings for the E&I team.•Hold morning rack-up meetings to go over daily work assignments with the team.•Interview and recruit new team members utilizing targeted selection interview process.

•Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of instruments, control valves, and related equipment in a chemical and power plant environment.•Perform interlock checks on various equipment including boilers, air compressors and chillers.•Troubleshoot and repair temperature, pressure, level and flow process loops using test equipment and drawings.•Troubleshoot and repair plant electrical equipment including AC/DC motors and drives, starters and circuit breakers of various sizes.•Experience using several types of test and calibration equipment such as Hart communicator, Fluke 744 and Honeywell 2020 documenting process calibrators, Multimeters, Meggers, and Altek Loop Calibrators.•Worked with many brands of instruments and control valves including Rosemount, Honeywell, Yokogowa, Fisher, Valtek, and Endress Hauser.•Repair and calibrate control valves and positioners.•Use computers to communicate, maintain equipment histories, record time and request materials for jobs.•Responsible for maintaining ISO database for ISO certified process instruments. This included updating and revising calibration procedures as well as keeping calibrations of instruments current and keeping accurate records for ISO audits.•Worked with engineers and project leaders to implement changes to processes.
