• Insure the accuracy of financial information during the close process in order to measure and compare profitability and identify areas for improvement.• Lead monthly financial reviews with GMs to inform, monitor and summarize results for each lab• Produce annual budget and forecast with input from top management for over 20 labs in the Upper Midwest region• Create variance analysis compared to forecast, budget, and history to identify threats and opportunities• Review various reports on a monthly basis that include: P&L, Balance Sheet, Unit Cost Reports, Inventory Control, Capital/Fixed Assets, KPIs• Conduct business financial reviews with upper management, VPs, and directors to help analyze and project performance, reduce costs, and increase profitability• Work on assigned Ad Hoc projects to produce timely, accurate, and actionable results• Develop month end consolidation reports to summarize and analyze projections• Perform analysis on capital projects, potential acquisitions, mergers, and closures

• Perform detailed financial analysis on 10-20 federal government contracts that generate around $30-$40m in revenue each month• Responsible for creating and billing monthly invoices for each contract• Provide accurate financial forecasts on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis• Forecast, track, and reconcile the cost, revenue, and profit on monthly, quarterly, and annual basis• Efficiently evaluate large amounts of data to identify trends, propose recommendations, and make adjustments in a deadline-oriented environment• Execute various accounting processes on a monthly basis (e.g. cost recoveries, cost accruals, revenue accruals, cost deferrals) to ensure the accuracy of projects’ financial data
