As a Human Resources Generalist at Grand Rapids Community College (GRCC), I apply my MBA in Human Resources Development to support the HR needs of the faculty and staff. I have over 7 years of experience in various HR roles in the higher education sector, including as an Associate Director and an Assistant Director of Human Resources at Kirtland Community College. I have developed skills in unemployment claims, employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, training, and compliance. I am passionate about creating a positive and inclusive work environment that fosters learning, growth, and diversity. I am also a proud alumna of Central Michigan University and Kirtland Community College, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Community Development: Health Sciences and my associate's degree in Cardiac Sonography, respectively.
