• As the sole SME for nine years, transformed and modernized a legacy peer-to-peer environment into an up-to-date infrastructure capable of supporting the organization into the next decade of growth.
• Architected organization’s first directory services environment. Serves as subject matter expert for all AD related tasks & functions. Migrated from Server 2003 to 2008 R2 to 2012 R2.
• Proposed to and successfully reutilized hardware from a canceled project to build a VMware VSphere cluster. Migrated twenty physical servers to four ESXi hosts with capacity for dev test VMs.
• Successfully proposed and began transition to Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure. Created virtual networks, established IPSec connectivity from 70 remote sites, and replicated servers for COOP.
• Improved collaboration and procedures by authoring SOPs. Serves as de-facto team lead for the helpdesk with a focus on task prioritization, consultation, and assistance with skill development.
• Implemented Kaseya VSA to administer systems using network & process monitoring, scripting via agent procedures, and Kaseya Remote Control (KRC) for improved remote assistance and support.

• Tested, planned, and implemented NetWare 3.12 to 6.5 migration. (Similar to NT 4 to AD)
• Created and maintained accounts in Active Directory, eDir, Exchange, and Lotus Domino.
• Oversaw and implemented migration from Lotus Notes/Domino to Outlook/Exchange 2003.
• Built system images and deployed hardware to replace call center terminals with PCs.
• Researched and implemented new software for use in new overhauled call center.
• Served as primary helpdesk contact for Virginia Beach call center & distribution centers.
