In my Branch Manager role we took the business from negative numbers in 2012 to profitability achieving +1 million in profit in 2013.Created focus in the Sales Team by splitting the separate modes of transport, driving expertise and focus; moving the team to a trusted advisor status for their customers. Upskilled the Operations team in both the operating system and also in team development, creating leaders running departments. Coached my replacement, mentoring and putting them in a position to take the Branch over. Developed new trade lanes and expertise, focusing on the existing network which had broader and bigger opportunities within.
