Medical-Surgical Telemetry Nurse w/ ACLS Standing Nursing preceptor, works wells with students and able to effectively supplement their book knowledge and real world application. Over 7 students have been instructed by me in 1 year of working on the unit. I was asked to join the relationship and patient satisfaction committee after my 1 year mark at the hospital. Roles include but are not limited to ensuring that patient safety is of the utmost importance, preventing the risks incorporated in HAPI and DTIs and hold meetings to promote growth in our unit. We also make sure that the patients are satisfied with care that they received. We are the team responsible for mitigating risks and improving the unit as a whole. Systematic approach on patient care which is patient focused and not just task orientated. I use a holistic approach to care, perceptive seeking and always looking to better the world any way I can.
