• Lead mechanical role in sector wide initiative to develop and implement a pilot program for Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) to institute Lean Manufacturing Methods and best practices. Through this program, maintenance costs were held flat year to year despite increased production, the installation of a new production line and a 30% increase in robots in the facility. Some of the initiatives implemented include:o Autonomous Care of machinery through Equipment Improvement Teams which utilized operators to perform low-level maintenance.o Implementing a Maintenance Excellence program by refining Work Breakdowns for maintenance tasks and migrating maintenance planning from Preventative Maintenance to Predictive Maintenance and in certain cases, on to Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) o Reorganized the maintenance department to meet higher demand without adding to the department headcount.o Instituting Design for Reliability (DFR) principles by inserting the maintenance team members into the planning teams for any new assets purchased.o Refined metrics from predominantly lagging to leading metrics in order to drive action rather than reaction.• Develop and implement a Vendor Partnership Program with key equipment manufacturers to drive continuous improvement of equipment utilizing equipment manufacturer resources paired with the maintenance team.• Provide leadership and expertise in developing and implementing a new calibration program meeting FDA requirements for cosmetic manufacturing.• Mechanical project engineer and lead project engineer for projects including equipment improvements, asset acquisition and sustaining projects and infrastructure expansions.• Resolve daily issues by collaborating with teams of operators, maintainers and engineers to improve machine reliability.

• Performed construction field engineering and project management services for:o I-30 Reconstruction project from Little Rock to Benton ($167MM).o The City of Little Rock’s widening of University Avenue ($4.4MM).• Prepared project estimate packages including final plans, construction documents and detailed calculations of cost and pay items.• Processed contractor invoices, draft contract change orders and maintain daily records of construction activity.• Implemented site safety program for all inspection activities.• Overhauled the method of recording and reporting the inspection progress of highway signs for Texas Department of Transportation.
