During my last semester at UTD I worked as the Head Lifeguard Mentor for the aquatic leadership positions that I helped develop. The two positions were the Head Lifeguard of Staffing and the Head Lifeguard of Training. I facilitated the hiring of theses two positions and three others. For these positions I assisted in the development of the job descriptions, selection of candidates, and conducting the interviews. During the year, I met up with Head Lifeguard of Staffing and Training each week giving them monthly goals, responsibilities, and advised them on issues. Close to the end of the semester I also developed a peer evaluation system for the entire aquatics staff that's meant to be distributed in February

Dallas/Fort Worth Area

During the summers I work for the city of Dallas in their community pools. From 2012-2014 I worked as a lifeguard and from 2015-2017 I worked as a pool manager. As a pool manager I was over 5-7 staff members and worked to ensure patron safety, customer service and facility maintenance. I also had the responsibility of completing all the paperwork involved with pool operations such as deposits, pollution prevention, lesson sign ups, chemical logs, time sheets, events, and employee write ups.
