The IIM Senior Solutions Developer is a critical part of technical and/or project teams responsible for meeting the internal or external clients' needs by developing software solutions and overseeing other Solution Developers. Determine the customers' requirements by communicating closely with them, Business Analysts, and Solution Architects. This position is accountable for feasibility research, estimates and project timelines, and ensuring that the applications' quality and performance meet industry standards.Essential Job Functions:• Designing, building, and maintaining websites and software applications to meet internal and external clients' needs.• Developing software solutions by creating and implementing the source code of new applications.• Testing and debugging source code, evaluating and modifying existing applications.• Developing technical handbooks and creating models and diagrams to show programmers the code needed for applications.• Monitoring quality and performance of applications through testing and maintenance.• Developing or validating test routines and schedules to ensure that test cases mimic external interfaces and address all browser and device types.• Identifying problems uncovered by customer feedback and testing and correcting or referring problems to appropriate personnel for correction.• Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards, is valid, is properly structured, and is compatible with browsers, devices, or operating systems.• Peer review, training, and coaching of other IIM Solution Developers.Competencies (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):• Proven knowledge of the most current security and web development programming languages.• Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization.• Ability to multitask with strict time constraints, budgets, and business goals.• Ability to create support documentation for all new applications.• Able to develop ideas and processes and clearly express them.
