I am responsible for all of Trombetta's design engineering groups, as a subsidiary of the Standard Motor Products (SMP) organization,. This includes our Mechanical/Electromechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Product Test, and Lab Test groups. We specialize in solenoids, contactors, and electronic controls, including electromechanical and solid state power switching, power distribution, CAN based modules, and embedded systems. Our products are intended primarily for mobile DC applications which require consideration for harsh temperatures, vibration, shock, ingress, and electrical transients.
