During my time as a support worker for Thrive House I was responsible for the implementation and utilisation for multiple NDIS and child protection policies during the daily routines of Individuals with disabilities and adverse affected children. This meant that I had to maintain a duty of care that permeated throughout several facets of my clients lives such as meals, daily activities, ensuring daily medication is administered on schedule, maintaining participant and environmental hygiene, encouraging participants to practice autonomy, assist in the facilitation of family visitations and establishing professional boundaries while continuing to develop therapeutic client relationship. While providing care to over 20 participants, spread over 10+ locations, I had to record and update daily shift notes, progress reports, behavioural notes, participant financial reports, participant data captures and incident report forms (when necessary) while on shift. This role also required me to liaise with multiple oversight organisations to ensure child safety and development and utilised practical skills (such as displaying empathy and active listening) learnt from my university studies to assist my work as a support worker guided by therapeutic crisis intervention.

During my time interning for Grey New I was responsible for facilitating communication with multiple schools, teachers, administrators, and parents across Australia to assist them in integrating Grey New's social and emotional learning curriculum in their school system/homeschool program. This role also required me to liaise with teachers, advisors and stakeholders to assist Grey New to develop an evidence based primary school curriculum. Paralleling these tasks, I was also responsible for the coordination and integration of a survey and feedback reporting system for multiple schools while conducting pilot programs.

At Bear Boy espresso, I was involved in the coordination of the café service and operations which including overseeing the standards of coffee and food to customers. During they year of my employment I was responsible for cooperating with 10+ staff members in the delivery of coffee and food to an average 1200 patrons weekly. This required me to; direct daily cleaning and restocking duties; to coach and assist co-workers in their own professional development; and utalise a wide range of to provide hospitality and solutions to customer needs.
