I was enlisted in the National Guard for the dates listed above. During my time in the National Guard, I spent 16 months in Baghdad, Iraq as a part of Operation Enduring Freedom. I was driver for the Colonel's Private Security Detail and was mainly responsible for the safety of the Colonel and taking him everywhere that he needed to go.

Provided guidance as a live-in counselor for adolescents in a therapeutic wilderness camp. Assisted camp residents with issues such as drug abuse, anger management, depression, suicidal tendencies, and serious parental conflict. Worked with an estimated 40 students, demonstrating an ability to develop meaningful student relationships.
