Worked as a full-stack developer with a team on a SASS scheduling product called Makeshift. The product had a browser-based admin component, mobile apps for employees, and integrated with a number of 3rd -party payroll API’s.The product is made predominantly with Ruby on Rails, Heroku, Git, JQuery, React, Circle CI, and Elixir.

As a member of the support team, my primary role was to aid artists and fans with the site. As a technically demanding support role, the job required knowledge of SQL, HTML/CSS/Javascript, etc.. Having a technical background I also worked internal admin tools written in Ruby/Javascript (knockout.js), Subversion, etc..

• Determined the boundaries of a loudspeaker parameter estimation model in MATLAB.• Measured the response of various loudspeaker drivers using a displacement sensor and a laser vibrometer (velocity), comparing results with the model.• Became familiarized with using sound-cards, ampliers, loudspeakers, measurement microphones, measurement pre-ampliers, and various other audio equipment.

• Modelled an office space using CATT-Acoustics to improve speech privacy. Additionally, auralization of speech samples to model a realistic scenario.• Enrolled in Acoustics and Noise Control course taught by Dr. Murray Hodgson. Topics covered include sound propagation, absorbers, noise control and case studies, human hearing, regulations and standards. Labs for the course include sound level, reverberation, and transmission measurements in practical industrial scenarios.

• Implemented a robotic system to autonomously measure multiple microphone positions in a small-scale reverberation chamber. - Ran standard sound transmission tests of floors.
